It ranks among the favorites of our youth, and remains a favorite as we grow into adulthood.
And now we can drink one that is healthy, and diet friendly. This recipe for homemade hot cocoa is an Atkins phase 3 friendly recipe that says “YUM!”
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
2 teaspoons Stevia
2 teaspoons water
1 cup milk
A touch of vanilla, if desired
Combine together cocoa, stevia and water in a small saucepan. Heat over low for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from pasting on the bottom of the pan. Add in the milk and vanilla and stir until it reaches your desired drinking temperature. Relax and enjoy! Share a cup with a friend!
